We are getting record snows here in Maryland this winter--more than we've seen in years. With several feet of snow on the ground, it's important to stay warm and dry. And it is possible to do so and still be fashionable. They key is in layering and having the proper footwear.
Footwear - Winter footwear has become uber chic in 2010 with a variety of cute multi-colored wellies and other boots that are made in weather resistant materials but styled to look like a fabulous boot that you would wear if not in snow or rain. Nordstrom carries a large variety in their stores.
1. The Hunter tall rain boot is ideal for tucking skinny jeans into and comes in a variety of super fun colors like purple, red, green and a girly pink. Priced at $115 ,these rubber boots will help you fashionably combat rain or snow.
2. The Chooka 'Moto' rain boot is rocker cool and rain boot all rolled into one. With the studded wrap around straps, you can add a little edge to your cold weather wear for just $70.
3. The Sperry Top-Sider 'Sydney' waterproof boot is the best of both worlds in warmth and rain gear with its wedge heel's wet weather traction and quilted nylon upper. Get it for just $85.
Another great way to score great boots from Nordstrom is to pay a visit to The Rack. At the Towson Town Centre store in particular, there are two whole rows of discounted boots in varying sizes to choose from.
