Christmas in Colonial Williamsburg

5 Days • 6 Meals
Experience all of the delightful festivities of the holidays in Colonial Williamsburg! Take in the sights and sounds with period costumed guides and craftsmen strolling down the streets who dress, work and talk as they did in this bygone era. And just for the holidays, Christmas traditions come to life...join us!

Tour Washington, DC
Your holiday journey starts in Washington, DC, where you’ll enjoy a driving tour of our nation’s most famous sights and see how the holidays are celebrated in the capital city. View the Christmas Tree outside the White House, Capitol Hill, the Washington Monument and a visit to the National WW II Memorial. Stop at Mount Vernon, where George and Martha Washington lived, and marvel at their estate, all decked out in holiday splendor.

Spirit of Christmas Past in Williamsburg
Step back in time and enjoy the holiday magic of this colonial city. In Williamsburg, Christmas traditions have been handed down for generations. Hear the wondrous sounds of holiday carolers, see the bright candles and colorful display of holiday decorations in this month-long celebration. To give you a real feel for the richness and warmth of colonial lifestyle, you’ll enjoy a traditional holiday dinner at a historic tavern.

A Living History Museum
For almost one hundred years, Williamsburg served as the social, political and cultural capital of our country. To re-create an authentic patriot backdrop, Williamsburg has restored or reconstructed more than 500 buildings to their original state. You’ll learn about the early days of this country’s history and get a real glimpse of American history, as it comes to life. Mayflower gives you ample time to explore this fascinating village on your own. Be sure to stop by and see the Governor’s Palace, Capitol Building and Bassett Hall. Take in an 18th–century play, see 18th–century–style fireworks and visit the shops where old-world craftsmanship takes center stage. You’ll share a festive Christmas farewell dinner and live holiday performance with your fellow travelers
