It is that time of year again... Spring emerges victorious, the heat finally gets turned off till next winter, and most importantly, Coca Cola bottled with the special yellow top appears on grocery store shelves. Did you know that this Coke is not your run of the mill Coke, but indeed, a very close version of the Original Coca Cola formula (sans actual coca, unfortunately) from our, well, my youth. It fizzes the way Coke was meant to fizz, it tastes the way Coke was meant to taste. Springtime and Passover mean kosher Coke.

Though the bottle in my kitchen was purchased at Snider's in Silver Spring, MD, I've had luck finding it in the past at my neighborhood Giant and Super Fresh grocery stores. You may want to buy it in bulk as the next time you will see the yellow tops grace the shelves will be later this year, as fall approaches, for Rosh Hashanah.
