It appears that the Dave Matthews Band will begin the 2010 tour oversees. The band announced in an email blast last night that they would return to Europe next February and tour until mid-March. Tickets go on sale tomorrow through the Warehouse fan clubs.
The Dave Matthews Band has been to Europe before, the last concert being in June of this year as part of their promotional tour for Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King. As the band expanded their touring catalog to include most tracks from BWGK, European fans will surely be excited to hear some of their new favorites played live. This time they will play 18 shows starting in Stockholm, Sweden and make stops in Denmark, Germany, Austria, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, England, Ireland and Scotland.
DMB just finished their summer tour earlier this month and Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds have already announced three shows in Las Vegas this December. Any rumors of the band slowing down, following their Big Whiskey success seem to be dwindling thanks to these tour announcements.
Warehouse will begin processing orders Tuesday, October 20 at 10 a.m. CET and GMT (10 a.m. local time for the city in which the event takes place). Presale will continue until the public on sale begins on Friday, Oct. 23 at 10 a.m. CET and GMT. You have to be a member of the Warehouse to purchase tickets early.
