Gears of War:
XBox 360 owners will be able to jump into Gears of War 2 this weekend and earn double XP during public matches. Not only that, but winning teams in ranked matches will earn an extra 500 XP
This will also affect "horde mode" players as every tenth wave will produce nothing but 'tickers.' This comes as a relief to players that have had trouble with taking on the 'blood mounts' that have caused many a frustrating session.
Call of Duty: World at War:
All players world-wide and on any platform will be able to accrue double XP starting on July 3. This day also brings a playlist update with the inclusion of Map Pack 2 maps into the main Core and Hardcore Rotations.
