WHAT: This event is the kickoff to the Museum's 3rd Anniversary Celebration!!
Hosted by the Reginald F. Lewis Legacy Council in collaboration with One World Cultural
 Arts Society, this event will be one of the most unique fundraisers in Baltimore by connecting
 Afro-Brazilian and African American cultures; it will create an experience you will never forget!!!
Guests will enjoy an evening filled with live African Brazilian rhythms performed by Alo Brasil.
 Also featured will be Brazilian Samba Dancers, Capoeira Angola creating an energy that will
 fill you with the true spirit of Bahia. Brazilian beverages and light cuisine will be provided.
 The proceeds will benefit the Museum's operations including educational programs and

 INFO: Moorea Marketing will hold the sixth annual Great Grapes Wine, Arts & Food Festival
at Oregon Ridge Park in Cockeysville, Maryland on Saturday, June 21 and Sunday June 22 from
 Noon-6p.m. each day
 Juan-Carlos Cruz of Food Network’s Calorie Commando will headline the Gourmet Live!  All cooking demonstrations will include a wide range of food pairings as well as tasting seminars.
Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy local Maryland wines from wineries.
In addition, they can shop at over 60 unique artist and craft exhibits and listen to local music on the main stage from bands such as Judo Chop, King Teddy, Captain Quint and the Reagan Years.

WHAT: Art Opening Reception

 WHO: Lori Larusso graduated from the University of Cincinnati's College of
 Design, Architecture, Art and planning in Cincinnati Ohio. In 2005 she received
 her Master of Fine Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the Maryland Institute
 College of Art. Larusso has received many awards for her works; most recently
she was the Artist in Residence at Bemis Center for the Contemporary Arts in
 Omaha Nebraska. She has had several solo exhibitions in a variety of places
from Sotheby's in Boston to School 33 here in Baltimore and has participated in
 a number of group exhibitions. She currently resides in Lexington, Kentucky.

Jordan Faye Contemporary has recently collaborated with Case [werks],
 LLC to present art in a traditional gallery. This collaboration is representative
 to JFC's commitment to the contemporary art scene in Baltimore by seeking out
 relevant venues that benefit galleries, artists, patrons & museums alike. Case [werks]
provides solutions for museums, galleries and libraries for exhibiting and preserving
 their objects, as well as several gallery specific products. With more than 40 years
 of cumulative expertise in the design and manufacturing of museum-quality exhibit
 furnishings, Case[werks] provides quality service on projects involving institutional
collections. Working together, Jordan Faye Contemporary and Case[werks] are jointly
 showcasing art and the mechanics behind the scenes.
