The Independent Women's Football League's Chicago Force could use your assistance as they continue their playoff run.

This Saturday, the Force have the opportunity to return to the IWFL National Championship if they can defeat the Kansas City Tribe this weekend in Kansas City, Mo.

As some of you probably know, these athletes are not raking in the big bucks to take a pounding game in and game out. On the contrary, these part-time Force players have to pay a little bit just to play. Sponsorship, fan support and voluntary assistance are all vital throughout the Force's season.

And to remedy the team's travel funds this season, the Force are looking for some donations to make sure that the entire roster will be available when they take on Kansas City. CLICK HERE for more information about making a donation.

The Force posted a strong 6-2 regular-season record and defeated the Seattle Majestics, 28-14, on June 27 in the first round of the playoffs.

Saturday's game against Kansas City is for the Western Conference Championship crown and of course the right to play in the IWFL title game on July 25 in Round Rock, Texas.
