For the next nine days, I'll go through each of the Nets' games this season with video recaps and a one sentence synopsis of each contest.
Game One: Vince Carter had 21 points and six assists and Brook Lopez had eight and eight in his first ever game as the Nets defeated the Wizards 105-95. Yi Jianlian had 17 points in his first game as a Net.
Game Two: Vince Carter had 19 points and Josh Boone pulled down 14 rebounds but New Jersey lost its home opener 105-97 to Golden State to fall to 1-1.
Game Three- Phoenix shot 12-18 from three point range, Raja Bell had 22 points as the Suns drilled the Nets 114-86 to drop New Jersey to 1-2. Carter led the Nets with 19, Yi had 15 and Devin Harris had 11 points and seven assists.
Game Four- Allen Iverson made his debut with the Pistons but Devin Harris' 38 gave the Nets a 103-96 win over Detroit to improve to 2-2.
Game Five- Vince Carter had a game high 31 points, but New Jersey shot only 38.7 percent as the Nets fell to Danny Granger and the Pacers 98-80.
Game Six- Yi Jianlian had 24 points and 10 rebounds, but a fourth quarter comeback by the Heat led by Dwayne Wade's 33 gave Miami a 99-94 win to drop New Jersey to 2-4.
Game Seven- Vince Carter led all scorers with 28 and Yi Jianlian had 11 and eight, but an 18-9-8 night from TJ Ford got the Pacers another win over the Nets 98-87 as New Jersey fell to 2-5.
Game Eight- Returning from a back injury, Devin Harris had 30 points and eight assists, Vince Carter had 26-8-7 and Brook Lopez had 25 and nine as the Nets snapped their three game skid 115-108 over Atlanta to improve to 3-5.
Game Nine- In the second game of a home and home, Devin Harris had 33 and Vince Carter had 29 as the Nets beat the Hawks again 119-107 to get to 4-5 on the season.
