Rocky Patel Vintage 1990
So, I have this problem. The weather is growing colder! Though I love seeing traces of my breath and suiting up in a wool coat, cold weather is not conducive to my routine of cigar smoking on the front porch. As the air chills, it is vital to find an escape from the elements and the stresses of life with a cigar in hand.
One of my favorite places to enjoy a relaxing smoke is Outland Cigars. They have two locations conveniently nestled in Ballantyne and South Park. I’m a big fan of the Ballantyne club. Located in Ballantyne Village, there is always live music and a great place to enjoy dinner a quick walk away. Outland has a great selection of exceptional cigars in their walk-in humidor and their lounge is adorned with plush leather recliners and three flat screen TVs. Escape to Outland and while you’re there pick up one of my favorite cigars, the Rocky Patel Vintage 1990. The Vintage 1990 is a masterpiece from first sight to the burn of the nub. The Honduran Broadleaf Maduro wrapper is seamless and silky smooth to the touch. Upon lighting you're greeted with rich and complex, yet smooth flavors of earth, leather, coffee, and nuts. All of which is finished with a buttery sweetness. These deep flavors are all thanks to the extensive aging of the Nicaraguan ligero filler.
I have been enjoying this cigar for years. I recommend the churchill size as its length allows for the maximum length in complex flavors. And for a reasonable price range under $10, it's worth every hard earned penny for all occasions. To all my fellow cigar smokers... kick back and burn it up!
