Ever have a girl want you to open a pickle jar? Ever have a guy ask you to go get him a beer? These small, menial tasks are some of the most important ways to maintain a relationship with someone.
The reason this works is as follows:
Investment -- A person helping you out is investing at the minimum time within you. People are less willing to give up people they have invested in than people they have not invested in.
Purpose -- It gives a reason for a person to be with you.
Confidence -- It shows that your not able to do everything in the world and are cool with that.
Vulnerability -- It shows a weakness you have. It allows other people to realize that you are not perfect, and therefore are able to trust you more.
Take note that you must truly appreciate what they do. Otherwise, you'll look like a manipulative person.
So how can you use this to get another person to notice you? You can do something as simple as ask someone what time it is. Simple, low investment question. Also, you can ask something to help you with a skill they're good at. Got a problem getting your computer to work? Ask a guy who's good at computers to help you out. What you're doing here is anchoring yourself to the job at hand, so if you made a good impression, when they do that job again, they'll think about you.
Picking up the opposite sex is about slowly allowing that person to enter your life. Asking them to do these small tasks allows them to enter your life with a small number of investments.
I'll catch y'all later,
