Pretend for a moment that you’re the head of some big company or organization who’s looking to increase worker productivity or simply get your name out there to the public. Oh, and you’ve got several thousands of dollars to spend. What do you do?

You hire a celebrity, duh! People listen to celebrities.

So now how do you go about finding a celebrity that you can actually afford? Well, I was surfing the web the other day when I happened to stumble upon the All American Talent and Celebrity Network

Their website has an extensive list of famous/rich people and how much they’d charge for various speaking engagements and personal appearances (including celebrity endorsements, book signings, corporate entertainment, cooking demonstrations, awareness campaigns, ect).

Most of the really top-notch, A-List actors required you to contact the company to get a rate but there was still quite a few who did have a price listed (which range from $5,000 to $200,000 and over).  Let’s compare shall we...

The Cast of Seinfeld:

Jerry Seinfeld: $200,000 +

Julia Louie Dryfus: not listed

Jason Alexander: $50,000 +

Michael Richards: $100,000 +

Total= Over $350,000

(Something tells me no one is looking to hire Michael Richards for any speaking engagements).

Late Night Talk-Show Hosts:

Conan O’Brien: $100,000 +

Craig Ferguson: $50,000 +

Jay Leno: $100,000 +

Jimmy Kimmel: $50,000 +

(That’s right, Conan is charging the big bucks now).

Old SNL Cast Members:

Dana Carvey: $100,000 +

Mike Myers: $50,000 +

Adam Sandler: $100,000 +

Julia Sweeney: $20,000-$30,000

John Lovitz: $50,000 +

Dennis Miller: $50,000 +

David Spade: $50,000 +

Colin Quinn: $30,000-$50,000

Chris Rock: $100,000 +

Kevin Nealon: $30,000-$50,000

Rob Schneider: $100,000 +

Molly Shannon: $30,000-$50,000

(Can someone tell me why Rob Schneider and Dana Carvey think that someone would pay just as much to hear them speak as Chris Rock and Adam Sandler?)

Day Time Talk-Show Hosts:

Ellen DeGeneres: $200,000 +

Joy Behar: $30,000-$50,000

“Dr.” Phil McGraw: $200,000 +

Whoopi Goldberg: $50,000 +

Barbara Walters: $50,000+

(Come on Barbara, surely your worth more than “Dr.” Phil).

Dave Coulier vs. Pee-Wee Herman vs. Carrot Top:

Dave Coulier: $10,000-$20,000

Paul Reubans: $30,000-$50,000

Carrot Top: $50,000 +

(Poor Uncle Joey).
