The phrase 'swimsuit season' should no longer strike fear in you.  Here's a convenient and economical way for busy parents to get in shape.  Check out this article from Rachel, the Stroller Strides Richmond owner.

We are all tightening our belts...no we haven't lost weight :) we are limiting our spending. So many people feel that they aren't able to spend money on extra activities these days. Gas is high and the economy is in the pits. We are VERY particular about where we are spending our money.

As moms (and usually the budget-masters of the house), we are not only looking for a GOOD DEAL (aka cheap) but also a HIGH QUALITY program. So that is where Stroller Strides comes into play - you can get EVERYTHING you need at our high-quality program for a great deal!

#1 - Your total fitness program. We offer at least 15 classes per week with several classes per day. Skip the gym and join Stroller Strides where our instructors are nationally certified with extra training on pre-/post-natal fitness. I have stressed before, you cannot find more qualified instructors anywhere in Richmond who can better help moms get their bodies back!! A Stroller Strides membership is $54/month which is very comparable to local gyms (keep reading to see where you will SAVING MONEY by participating in Stroller Strides!)

#2 - Your Child's Playgroup/Activities - all Stroller Strides classes end at a playgroup/playarea so your child is rewarded for their great behavior during class. They get a chance to get exercise, socialize with other children, and even have special activities JUST for them. Our LUNA Moms Club weekly playgroups focus on the kids - whether its bubbles and chalk, an obstacle course, crafts, or a talk on water safety, we help our children to grow and develop at Stroller Strides! Check out our monthly playgroups. Not only that, but moms have created their own playgroups outside of Stroller Strides by chatting on our Yahoo Chat Room. What is the cost to you - NOTHING!! C'mon, admit it, we all like something for free!

SAVE at least $50/month on other programs just for kids.

#3 - Your Mom's Club - by participating in Stroller Strides, you will create an instant family of friends who will be there for you all the time! We have monthly Mom's Night Out events that include things like mani/pedis, Comedy Night, and movie nights. Its always a blast to get out of the house and be with friends!! More than that, we are always providing meals for moms who just had a baby, we have a babysitting co-op, and we also help arrange for summer babysitters! YES, all this from Stroller Strides!!

Save about $20/year on Mom's Club membership dues

#4 - Your Family Time - one extra event we have each month is a Family Event. Bring your husbands to Stroller Strides class and stay for a cookout, head to the zoo, join us at the Farmer's Market. Get those dads out of the house also! Many husbands have met lifelong friends doing these events just like we have!!

Making your husband happy is PRICELESS!

So doing Stroller Strides saves you more than $620/year!! That is a BARGAIN you can't pass up!!

See you in class!!
