When is the last time you had a leisurely cup fo coffee or a nice chat with your friend or spouse? If you have to think too long about your answer, then consider heading to Chat & Play Cafe in Midlothian.
Chat & Play was started by a local mom who clearly understands what other parents need. It combines a cafe serving healthy and reasonably priced meals with an inside area where your children can play. Parents get the best of both worlds. The play area is in plain view of the tables, so parents can keep an eye on their little ones playing.
The cost to play is $2 per child.
If you're part of a playgroup or moms club, call ahead to reserve one of the larger tables that are right next to the play area.
Check their website too for upcoming special events. Chat & Play often hosts story tellers, magicians, and special activities. They also host birthday parties.
Please leave your snacks and sippy cups in the car. Chat & Play offers many kid-friendy meals and snacks including juice boxes, milk, crackers and sandwiches so your children wont be hungry or thirsty. Remember that this is a business, and a locally mom owned one at that. Help support them by getting yourself some coffee, getting some crackers for your child, and then sitting back and enjoying some peace as your child plays happily.
