Sanford, FL- The entire month of November will be “Bounce Away Hunger” month at BounceU at 3125 Orlando Drive in Sanford. The special event, the Big Bounce Food Drive , will take place on Sunday, November 8, 2009 from 2pm-5pm at BounceU. 
 
BounceU and Pizza Hut will partner to host the Big Bounce Food Drive on Sunday, November 8th. Pizza Hut will offer pizza by the slice and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank. BounceU will offer $2 off Open Bounce for all guests that bring a non-perishable food item. This makes the cost of bouncing only $6. Remember, adults always bounce for free and are encouraged to do so!
 
For the entire month of November, BounceU will host the Bounce Away Hunger Food Drive for the Second Harvest Food Bank. There will be collection bins at the BounceU stadium where people can donate non-perishable food items. Customers that bring in a non-perishable food item will receive $1 off any regular priced open bounce for the entire month of November. Customers that bring in a larger paper bag of non-perishable items will receive up to $50 off of a party package.

She added that "it is important for businesses and the community to help keep food on the table for area children and their families this fall."
 
BounceU provides supervised play and healthy activities on giant inflatables. All bouncing guests must wear socks.
 
“BounceU is focused on youth fitness and nothing is more basic to a child’s health than good nutrition,” explained Cline. “We hope to raise awareness of fall food shortages and encourage our customers and friends to make regular donations to the area Food Banks as well.”
