In a past article, I spoke about how children can get online, lie about their age, and see and read things that are not appropriate. I had even given an example of a game which is available on Myspace that underaged people can play. Well, I now have more proof for parents that the internet and some games may not be appropriate and needs supervision.

HGK. These initials stand for Home Grown Killers. No, this is not a group associated with terrorism. This group is one of many mob families that participate in the game 'Mobsters' on Myspace.

What is wrong with this family?

There are some members that know there might be underaged people on their website that still make lude comments and offers. The picture above is a screen shot of one such offer on their website. The member's name is 'Don Sonny' or also known as 'Your Calamity'. This member is an administrator of the website and boss of the family. In this, he was advertising for a female only personal assistant. Please look at the picture to see what he was also offering. He has already shown this to other members in the main chat of the group.

When I did play the game, I was a member of this family. Once it was late night, some members started having internet sex in the main chat while there were underaged children in the room. The only thing bad about this family as well is that if you have a problem with one of the members, they make up extravagant lies about you and get you banned from the family with no evidence that you did anything wrong. Then they try and hack your account, which in my case they succeded, and delete all of your information and pictures. My account I used to help keep my family long distance updated with the family and pictures. I thought I was in no real danger until I logged in and all of it, including my children's pictures, were gone.

I do not want a child or young adult to feel as bad as I did when this happened. Even though you might know what happened, people believe the lie instead.

So parents, please let your children know the proper internet behavior. Let them know not to engage in such actions and report these incidences. Let us protect our children from people who cannot control their urges.
