Climategate - Phil Jones, Kevin Trenberth, Michael Mann, Tom Wigley, Mick Kelly, Gavin SchmidtThe Climategate emails and documents that were released last week comprised years of communications among the world’s top climate scientists. A controversy has erupted in the wake of the release about the meaning of the messages and the men behind them.  Now a video (below) has been released discussing those involved.


Originating from Britain’s Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia, the director of that unit, Phil Jones, figures most prominently in the messages. Michael Mann, author of the infamous ‘hockey stick’ graph is as well prevalent but there were many others whose correspondence was released.

To many, the messages show a concerted effort among the scientists to collude together to push their own agenda. The silencing and blackballing of dissenters, modification and falsification of climate data, deleting of information subject to Freedom of Information requests and more are charges that have been leveled.  The scientists have said the messages were 'taken out of context.'

The video below was released by the website Watt’s Up With That to serve as a who’s who among the scientists and some of the other key figures in the manmade climate change debate:
