What does two all-stars and a first team all-defensive player get you?

Camby

...swept in the first round of the playoffs, apparently.

Seriously, though, congrats to Marcus Camby for once again being recognized as one of the league's top stoppers. Despite the early playoff exit, and despite what I thought was a slightly uninspired second half of the season for Marcus, he deserves some dap for the numbers he put up. Second in the league in rebounds per game (13.1) and first in blocks (3.6 - and the next highest average was 2.8).

Marcus is a great leader, and it seems like he still has a couple good years of basketball left in him. But as much as I love having the Cambyman in a Nuggets uniform, it looks like now might be the time to move him. Wait any longer and teams will start balking at his age (if they aren't already). If the Nuggs can somehow trade Marcus in for a defensively-sound point guard or a draft pick, I'd say go for it.
