Avs 2008-09 schedule is out. Take a look....

The Avs released their 2008-09 schedule yesterday. They'll open the season on Thursday, October 9th at home against the Boston Bruins. Some highlights:

Sid the Kid visits the Pepsi Center on January 10th, 2009
The Avs play 8 straight at home from January 16th-February 5th
February is a tough month, with 9 out of 13 games on the road
A reworked NHL schedule means the Avs will see each Eastern Conference team at least once.,
