Rockies no longer writing off the season?
POSTED July 25, 11:04 AM

Is Matt staying put, after all?
I found an interesting article on FoxSports.com this morning. It suggests that if the Rox stay hot during their upcoming road trip (3 games at Cincinnati, 3 at Pittsburgh and 4 at Florida), they may switch from sell to buy mode.

Yep, thanks to their recent 6-1 homestand, the Rockies are back in contention in the NL West. They may be 13 games under .500, but the Rox are just 6 games out of first place. So if they can keep up the good work during this lengthy stretch on the road (easier said than done for a team that’s gone 14-36 away from Coors Field), then they may be in a position to add some talent, rather than dump it.

Check out the article here. And keep hope alive, Rockies fans!
