The Buffs have made some great strides since bringing coach Hawkins on board... but they still have a lot of work to do. RB Darrell Scott (arguably the top recruit in this year's class) should help to bolster the running game, and Cody Hawkins will continue to improve as he gets more starts under his belt. But will he have anyone to throw to? And will the Buffs' cornerbacks continue to get torched by opposing QBs?
Rivals.com expresses similar concerns, grading the Buffs offense a C+ and the defense a C. They're particularly hard on the Buffs' special teams, grading it a C-, but they give coach Hawkins and the rest of the staff a solid B.
