Baseball is the ultimate endurance test among team sports, 162-games of pitch outs, ground outs and punch outs. And it all comes down to this. Six games remain on the Atlanta schedule, the Braves vaunted starters, the group that has kept the team in the race all season long, have one more go around.

Counting tonight - Hudson has two starts left, every other pitcher has only one more chance to impact the wild-card race. On paper, Atlanta should have the pitching advantage in each of their last five games and that advantage will need to play out on the field if the team is going to catch Colorado.

The good news is that the starters have been up to the task all season long, they've carried the team and each has had moments of dominance. The team needs one more week of solid work, and chances are that's what they'll get.
