Braves sweep their way to 7th straight win

With their backs against the proverbial playoff wall, the Braves have responded with a season best seven game winning streak. Consecutive sweeps of the Cardinals and Mets have kept Atlanta's slim playoff hopes alive; the Braves are now only 4 1/2 games behind Colorado for the NL wild card.
After a crucial series with the Phillies that begins tonight, the Braves schedule becomes favorable as they play the Nationals seven more times and the Mets three more times.
