The growth in green technology has spawned plenty of interest in companies that work toward a "sustainable planet."
So it's no surprise the Sustainable Planet CE Spotlight exhibit area at CES is growing as well.
The Consumer Electronics Association today (Nov. 3) announced that the area highlighting sustainable technologies will be more than 40 percent larger at the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show, Jan. 7-10 in Las Vegas.
Sustainable Planet will be located in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. It will have more than 30 exhibitors showcasing new products for the automotive and wireless industries, along with alternative energy technologies, sustainable packaging, and green building.
The exhibit space is expected to cover some 5,500 square feet in the LVCC.
