It was a wet and wild stage 6 at the Tour de France that saw David Miller try to break away but get caught within kilometers of the finish.

At the end of the rainy day it was Norway's Thor Hushovd (Cervélo TestTeam) won his first stage since last year. It was the big Norwegians seventh career stage win.

In the Genral standings Cancellara still leads the race over Armstrong with two two tied on time. Contador is in third just 19 seconds behind, with Andreas Klöden (Astana) next, 23 seconds, and Levi Leipheimer taking up the fifth spot of the top 5.

Overall team Astana has four riders in the top fivegeneral standing positions.
