You probably know that Brit Paul Radcliffe holds the world marathon record at 2:15:25.
But did you know that she also holds the current world record at nine other running distances?
This fact alone has got to make her the greatest female runners of recent times, and of course one of the women (if the the women) to watch at this weekend's New York City Marathon.
But who are the other female runners that have a shot at beating Radcliffe in New York in just a few days?
Universal sports has put together two fun slideshows that highlight the men and women who have the best chance of winning in New York..jpg)
On the women's side there are about 10 runners who have a real shot at victory.

On the men's side of the race Ryan Hall must be the sentimental favorite for many Americans, but with about 18 top world class male runners in this year's race, he'll have his work cut out for him if he hopes to stand on the top podium position.
