Naveen Andrews, best known for his role as a soldier-turned-torturer-turned-lover-turned-leaver-turned-survivor-turned-assassin on LOST, will be leaving the mysterious island, at least for a short time.
Andrews, who plays the Iraqi Sayid on ABC's LOST, has landed a guest starring role on the NBC crime drama Law and Order: SVU, reports TVGuide.com.
As LOST continues to work on its sixth and final season, many of the LOST cast members find themselves in limited roles, with plenty of time to kill. If you have seen the images representing the final season of LOST, you know that the creators have made a move that will bring the majority of the cast, both living and dead, back in some way for the show's denouement. With all those stars, Andrews was bound for a little time off.
Law and Order: Special Victims Unit airs Wednesday nights @ 9/8c on NBC.
