We all have to die sometime.  This is a theme that FlashForward keeps returning to again and again.  Thursday's FlashForward saw a return to this theme as they finally revealed what Bryce Varley saw in his flash forward.

'FlashForward:' what you need to know before episode 1x09, 'Believe'

Before revealing Bryce Varley's future, however, the writers opted to show us Bryce Varley's past.

Spoiler Warning:

It appears as though Bryce found out a little over a year ago that he had cancer…the terminal kind.  In his frustration with chemotherapy treatments and fear about what the future holds, Bryce Varley ventured out onto the pier, gun in hand.  When he raised the gun to do his dastardly deed, the experiment caused the global blackout, and Bryce saw his future…a lovely Asian girl named Keiko.

Bryce Varley has a thing for Asian girls, apparently.

For now, check out the video below of Bryce fighting through his therapy, and the slideshow from FlashForward.
