Can Scrubs season 9 handle its handicap?
(NBC)

Bookmark and Share Scrubs, the medical comedy drama that has kept people laughing for 8 seasons, will dig into its ninth season beginning December 1.

Is Scrubs season 9 still Scrubs?

The fact that ABC is bringing back the show that has seen its share and ups and downs over the sat few years, but this newest iteration of the show will either redefine Scrubs or flush the show's reputation down the proverbial toilet.

Much of what made Scrubs such a hit in previous years was the influence of Zach Braff's narrating and character which carried the show. Now that Braff has left Scrubs in season 9 and a new crop will be carrying the show, can the show hold its own without JD?

Scrubs season 9 leaving home

Not only will Scrubs season 9 have to fight against their lack of Zach Braff, but the show will be leaving the hospital setting that it has depended on for the previous 8 seasons.

Will all of these changes keep Scrubs season 9 fresh, or will season 9 flounder and fail after leaving everything that made the show successful behind? Let me know what you think in the comments below!
