Core Pilates on 17th also offers training for breast cancer survivors. The Pink Ribbon Program is specifically designed for those on the road to recovery. The program will help stretch and strengthen the shoulders, chest, back, and abdominal muscles, allowing full range of motion to return to the areas affected by breast cancer. This workout is accommodates women who have undergone surgery recently or who have long since begun recovery, and is appropriate for all fitness levels.

The Pink Ribbon Program supports the physical, mental, and emotional wellness for those individuals recovering from breast cancer surgery. This wonderful program also helps patients cope with changes in appearance by promoting a positive body image.

Chandler Moore, owner of Core Pilates on 17th and co-owner of Core Pilate Sausalito, is a Certified Cancer Exercise Specialist who has studied and certified with Pink Ribbon Program founder Doreen Puglisi.
 

If you are an already and Instructor and are interested in The Pink Ribbon Program as part of your continuing education, this professional workshop will focus on rehabilitation for individuals who have had breast cancer. Valuable information will help you design a workout program to address the needs of this special population heal and recover after major surgery and reconstructive surgery.
