Producer Nigel Lythgoe is considering Paula Abdul for his hit show “So you Think You Can Dance.” During the Las Vegas filming of Season 6, Lythgoe shared in an Access Hollywood interview he missed talking to Abdul because she wasn’t feeling well.

“If Paula wants to come on she’ll come on. She is a great performer,” Lythgoe said. “She is a great dancer, choreographer and a good judge...She has everything I need for this show.” He would like for her to be on SYTYCD permanently. In the same interview he shared he wants to open up talks with her again for “American Idol.”

In the meantime, Abdul was spotted this week in the “Dancing with the Stars” audience. There is speculation she may be asked to guest judge or appear on ABC’s hit show. During the show she joked about making out with Carrie Ann Inaba. It was referencing Donny Osmond briefly following Bruno Tonioli to the dark side when he called his performance “airy fairy.” Osmond rushed up to the judges’ table and kissed Tonioli during a moment of live television silliness.

Abdul looked healthy and relaxed during her brief moment on camera, but some of her jokes fell flat. Osmond stated afterwards he would love to see her become a judge on the show.

How do you feel about Abdul becoming a permanent judge/choreographer on “So You Think You Can Dance” or becoming a guest judge on “Dancing with the Stars” this season?  Leave comments below.
