NORTH AMERICA
FBI ranks Toledo, Ohio , the 4th biggest hub for child prostitution and recruitment for sex trafficking. Children who are recruited in Tolego by pimps are moved to different cities for prostitution.
Canada: The police seeks public help to find a man who is allegedly part of a human trafficking ring. The police discovered the alleged human trafficking ring by Operation Intercede in Halifax area and Niagara.
Florida, the founders of Emancipation Network, a non-profit organization assisting human trafficking victims with their shelter program, moved to Palm city because of the high rates of human trafficking in the area. Florida has the second highest human trafficking incident in the nation, according to Shared Hope International.
LATIN AMERICA
Mexico attempts to implement DNA tool to trace back missing children. According to NGO data, roughly 100,000 ~ 500,000 children have disappeared in Mexico over the past five years. The report stated that the lack of DNA identification system in nationwide makes it more difficult for the state to trace them back.
EUROPE

Serbia signed an agreement to combat human trafficking in the country. This year, 106 trafficking victims, according to the report ,have been registered in Serbia, a substantial increase from 55 victims registered the year before.
The joint studies of the councile of Europe and United Nations demonstrates that the new international convention to ban suicide traveling and organ trafficking is necessary. The study reveals the gravity of organ trafficking around the world.
ASIA
The Philippines: the coast guard announced the needs to raise the awareness of human trafficking among the passengers of the ships. According to the coast guard, lack of awareness among the passanges from Cebu, Samar and provinces in Mindanao is causing many of them to become victims of human trafficking by the sydicates.
AFRICA
Ghana: A journalist receives a prize for exposing Chinese human trafficking ring in Africa. As a result of his work, the state was able to rescue seven Chinese girls from the human trafficking ring, and prosecute three human traffickers.
