NORTH AMERICA

In Miami customs launches a new campaign to combat human trafficking.

In California, a fishing boat abandoned off the coast of Orange County is suspected to be used for human trafficking from Mexico, according to sheriff's officials. 

EUROPE

 

Romanian president issues re-examination of child trafficking legislation. The president mentions that the crime against children committed by their family members needs to become more stringent. 

Serbia registers 95 victims of traffickings. 80 of the 95 victims are female, and 46 of them are under the age of 18. 

ASIA

In Malaysia, the police arrested  two men for sex trafficking two women. 

Justice official speaks about slavery persisting in India during the speech held in Iowa.

In Israel, the government announced a bill to curb human trafficking. the police report also demonstrated the significant improvement in combating human trafficking for the past 2 years. 

In Dubai, a woman is accused of her attempt to sell her baby for $2700. 

in Cambodia, a newspaper reports that it is common for children to be used as domestic slaves. 

AFRICA

In Botswana, Zimbabwean women are enslaved in Safari lodges. 

In Lybia, UN office opened an office to fight against major crimes including human trafficking in Maghreb countries in North Africa-Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco and Tunisia.
