On Wednesday November 11th, the Kids Feeding Kids food drive kicks off at BounceU in Rocky Hill, Ct.  BounceU will set up food collection bins for children to donate non-perishable food items.  For every item donated, they will receive a $1 off (up to $5 off for five items) on an open session at BounceU.

The food drive benefits the Rocky Hill and Wethersfield Food Banks and helps parents teach their kids the importance of giving back to the community.

"BounceU is delighted to help the Rocky Hill and Wethersfield Food Banks keep food on the table for area children and their families this fall," said Brenda Simonelli, Owner of Rocky Hill BounceU.  "BounceU is focused on youth fitness and nothing is more basic to a child's health than good nutrition.  We hope to raise awareness of fall food shortages and encourage our customers and friends to make regular donations to the food banks."

BounceU provides supervised play and healthy fun activities on giant inflatables.  Typically reservations are required.  However, next Wednesday there will be three Open Bounce sessions during the food drive.  Each session will be discounted to $4.95 per child when accompanied by any five non-perishable food items per child. Open sessions are 10am - 11am, 12pm - 1pm and 2pm - 3pm.
