Emily Blunt, of The Devil Wears Prada fame, brings the holiday spirit a little closer with the beautiful ensemble she wears to the BAFTA Awards in California.  Looking as pretty as a holiday package in her sparkly, red dress and shiny accessories, it is difficult not to think ahead to our own holiday dresses.

Blunt's jeweled Basil Soda dress embraces a few winter trends that could brighten any holiday party.  Dresses with asymmetric necklines are hot in Hollywood and will make you stand out in the crowd of traditional gowns.  While red and sparkly can be a comon theme in the winter, red is extra hot and textures and patterns can really change things up.  Adding a sleek bag, metallica pumps and minimal jewelry really finish off this elegant look.  Light makeup and a simple updo balance out the look without overpowering the dress.

The holidays will be here before we know it, so now is the time to find your holiday dress.  Why not try something trendy like Blunt's glimmering number?  To up the Hollywood edge, follow Blunt's lead and wear black toenail polish, which is seen all over Hollywood at the moment.
