Residents of Haddonfield love their holidays and Halloween is no exception. One of the best-decorated homes this season is the Zombie Hospital located on Washington Avenue.
Zombies hang in trees along the perimeter of the property to protect the hospital. Signs notify visitors that the survival rate is zero and should you choose to continue towards the surgical ward, you will find an operation in progress.
Bloody handprints cover the walls, a candy striper sits by the front door and various ghouls are in the waiting room. The highlight of most hospitals is the nursery, and this hospital does not disappoint. Beautiful white cradles with bloody white linens line the nursery. Currently, a two-headed baby begs to be fed, mobiles hang above each crib to entertain the babies and the star attraction, Linda Blair’s baby girl. You will be able to identify Linda’s baby when her head spins and eyes bulge. If you have young children who scare easily, you should skip this house when trick of treating but come back alone and enjoy the display.

Potter Street entertains with the Cirque du Ghoul-ay. Animals, trapeze artists and clowns are hanging around waiting to scare. Look close at the faces and you may change your mind about entering this circus.
Finally, a town favorite is the graveyard on Chestnut Street. The epitaphs are fitting for Haddonfield residents and definitely worth the read.
