The last post ended by saying that there would be a series of posts on cool, yet unknown features about your favorite social media site. Yet, the social media world got some big news recently. Yesterday at the Web 2,0 Conference in San Francisco, Bing, which is Microsoft's search engine, announced that it would be integrating live Twitter updates into its search results. Hot on the heels of Bing's announcement, Google announced it would also roll out Twitter integration with its search results as well. The updates would include anything relevant to your queries, including urls posted in tweets as well.

That's not all, however. Bing also announced that they would be integrating Facebook updates into its search as well. While Google said they would roll out its Twitter in the coming months, Bing's Twitter feature is currently up and running. You can check it out at www.bing.com/twitter. Give it a shot. it shows trending topics as well as tweets relevant to those topics. It is a very nice looking interface and looks like it can only get better.
What do you think about search engines getting in on Twitter? Would it improve your search results or just add clutter to your search results?
