Could the bickering between Chloe and Janis be any MORE fun? Last night while watching them I was totally flashing back to sharing a bedroom with my sister when we put the masking tape down the center of the room and she would huff “Do you HAVE to walk on my side of the room?” and I would snap back “Well, I DO if I want to get out the door!” These two have turned into sorority sisters who just discovered that they’ve been dating the same guy but instead of blaming him for being a two-timer they’re trying to establish whose property he really is. Next week I’m expecting this to melt down into a full-blown “I’m more valuable to Jack!” “Well I’ve known him longer!” argument with a catfight. It’s like some of the out-of-work writers of Alias got hired to inject a little “life” into 24 this season because they all said at the interview “You know, on our series, the men really seemed to like the women fighting.” And whoever did the hiring has the same fantasy from the Raquel Welch episode of Seinfeld where Jerry and Kramer discuss watching a catfight and hoping it results in the fighting women ripping each other’s clothes off.

Please don’t let Janis and Chloe take their clothes off.

And what is the deal with Olivia? Was her mother SO determined to become President that she ignored the girl as a child - because she has some serious issues. I don’t care if she DID decide not to go ahead and have Jonas killed, I don’t think any normal person can contact an assassin at the drop of a hat. "Let's see, did I file that under A for assassin or K for killer?  Oh, wait, here it is, B.  For Bob."  And I’m not really buying the whole assassin-did-it-anyway-so-you-have-to-pay-him-or-he’ll-tell-everyone-you’re-involved story. If I’ve learned anything from the movies (and I like to think I have) it’s that assassins pretty much specialize in killing and don’t really get involved in less glamorous crimes like blackmail, etc.

And here's another thing I’m not buying….that Tony is sooooooooo upset over Michelle’s death that he has turned Evil Beyond Redemption. Michelle was annoying. And whiny. You have nothing left to live for now that she’s gone? C’mon, dude, become a Big Brother or something. Find a hobby. Eventually you will forget her and realize that there are other curly-haired fishes in the sea.
