I hope everyone is caught up on their DVR and TiVO’d episodes because you need to STOP READING if you are not. We got a nice little surprise on Monday’s episode and I refuse to not talk about it because some people are too busy. Yes, I’m jealous. I obviously have LOTS of free time on my hands.

Well done, 24. Just when I was starting to think “I thought I would be a lot gladder that Tony is back but he’s kind of boring the pants off me” you go and reveal him to be a bad guy after all AND have him kill Larry! That is a double score because Larry, even when he was all concerned about Renee and then trying to fight the VP and “do the right thing” never really got beyond irritating. But if Tony is really with the Dark Side, why did he blow up the tanks? And I’m glad to be wondering this, really. I’m glad to be wondering if Tony managed to fool Chloe and Bill Buchanan (may he Rest in Peace) the whole time he was working with them (and won’t Chloe be pissed when she finds out!) instead of being annoyed by Tony and merely wondering if he can ever talk without mumbling.

And great job bringing Kim back in a realistic way. It was nice to see her just being Jack’s daughter and not trying to hold down a job she’s not qualified for or being chased by wildlife.

The show, for me, has been a bit of rollercoaster this season. I’m interested, I’m bored, I’m interested, I’m bored. When the reporter tried to blackmail Olivia into sleeping with him I fell asleep myself. If she’s bad, let’s see it. The Jack illness stuff is starting to wear a little thin, he’s obviously not going to die. Although he was told on Monday that he could start experiencing personality changes and hallucinations and that could end up being quite interesting. And I’d like to see more of Jonas Hodges. He is a full-out wack job and there is nothing more fun to watch. I loved it when he lunged at the President! Hilarious! And I have to say that I really enjoyed Renee more when she was uptight and humorless rather than concerned and sincere. I’d rather see more of Chloe and Janis and even that slinky girl that Sean is having the affair with than any more of Renee.

Oops.  Just remembered that slinky girl is dead.  Good grief this show has a lot of characters to keep track of.

Supposedly all the bio-weapons have been destroyed except for that one canister that Tony told the guy to hide; and it is enough to take out a small town.  So who is the "bigger than me" entity that Hodges warned the President about?  She's already had to deal with another country taking her hostage in the White House, is Russia going to try and take over the U.S.  Is that it?

Just for fun, let's play a game.  Guess the Power behind the scenes:

A) It is a faction of several African nations but all they really want is for American celebrities to stop adopting their babies.

B) It is Martha Stewart because we're all not composting enough.

C) It is Donald Trump who plans to hold the country hostage until the media agree not to make fun of his hair anymore.
