Oh, 24 you had a couple great episodes but last night….last night you seriously tested my suspension of disbelief.

First: Jack is infected? Really? Jack IS 24. He’s obviously not going to die so why bother infecting him. Let’s see, the disease could….give him some really serious scarring. Oh. He’s already seriously scarred. This is a waste of my time. Even if he starts showing symptoms and there are doctors and scientists working like crazy in the room right next to him to find a cure (there isn’t one right now? OH NO!) I know they will find one right at the last possible minute to keep any serious mental or physical damage from happening and Jack will be up kicking butt within 20 minutes. I’m not buying it.

Second: When they find the warehouse where canisters of a dangerous bioweapon are stored they choose to get in by blowing the doors off? What if there was a canister sitting right next to the door? I almost tuned out right them and started to play video poker but I’m glad I didn’t because….

Third: All those Starkwood employees are standing off against the FBI because they have a legal right to? Even if they win, what are they going to do? Take over the country by military force? Sure, they are on their own compound (why do all these factions have a compound?) and they have the home-compound advantage but even if they defeat all the FBI guys that are there the President can still send in the military. And yes, I know, the military is a little distracted by Sangala but I doubt that every last available soldier was sent to Sangala.

Those are my beefs. But, as I am a true fan, I will also tell you what I like.

First: I don’t trust Olivia. I kind of like that. I kind of like that I have to keep wondering if the President’s own daughter will betray her. Good work.

Second: I like that Aaron Pierce is going to stick around. I’m even happier that he has his shirt back on.

Third: I LOVE that the chubby dweeby-looking guy totally pulled one over on Tony! I like Tony and I’m not glad he got duped, but this is a victory for chubby dweeby-looking guys everywhere and they have needed a hero!

And one more thing: if you can bring back Stokes “from the dead” can you please bring back Bill Buchanan? Please?
