Medicare fraud is estimated to cost $60 billion. That may be small change to the corruption by our "representatives". Dianne Feinstein and her husband Richard Blum have enjoyed a symbiotic relationship. Senator Feinstein was chairwoman of the military construction committee (MILCON) in the US Senate. During her tenure on the committee she awarded contracts to the following companies.

  • Boston Scientific was awarded $17.8 million, 85% without competitive bids.
  • Kinetic Concepts was awarded $12 million, 28% without competitive bids
  • C.B. Richard Ellis contracts for lease of office space to the Dept. Of Veterans Affairs and redevelopment of military bases to be leased or sold to private sector
  • Perini was awarded $25 million for construction of facilities of the !st Brigade Afghan National Army
  • The Army Corps of Engineers awarded $500 million to Perini
  • Perini received $500 million to develop electrical power for southern Iraq

Richard Blum is a major stockholder in Boston Scientific, Kinetic Concepts, C. B. Richard Ellis and Perini. Dianne denied any conflict of interest in the awarding of the contracts to companies in which her husband had a major interest. Dianne also left the MILCON committee after the above was reported in a local magazine. She stated it was a "normal rotation". She and Richard did build a $16 million home in San Francisco. Where did the money come from? How many other "representatives" are greedy self-serving parasites?
