Marvel releases the Astonishing X-Men Motion Comic on October 28

After my raving over Marvel's phenomenal Spider-Woman, I couldn't wait until October 28 when they released the first part of the new Astonishing X-Men Motion Comic, an animated version of the critically acclaimed run by Joss Whedon and John Cassaday.

Marvel just went and made my wait unbearable by releasing this sneak peek at the highly anticipated series. While not a new story like Spider-Woman, the amazing level of animation and effects present in this clip alone guarantee that this series will be well-worth watching even to those who have the original comic book memorized.

Watch this clip and then imagine the possibilities of all the seminal storylines that could be given new life with this groundbreaking new endeavor.

Episode 1 releases October 28 on iTunes. Also, check out the Marvel Motion Comics page for more information and clips. And don't forget about the already released Spider-Woman. It's worth a look or three.
