Blake Shelton http://www.blakeshelton.com will be in concert at Belterra Casino and Resort on Saturday night, November 7 at 7 p.m.
Shelton, a Warner Brothers recording artist, started writing songs and performing as a teenager. He played the Oklahoma club circuit as a young adult.
Now, he has grown into one of Country’s finest talents and has just released his fifth album “Startin’ Fires.” Although this album stretches him musically and vocally, fans will find that he sticks to his roots with his rich baritone voice and emotive ballads in the vein of his hits “Austin” or “The Baby” as well as offering upbeat more energetic numbers like the song “Some Beach.”
"I think this album takes things a step above where they have been," said Blake Shelton. "It shows me as the artist I’ve always wanted to be, which is somebody with a fresh sound that when you hear it, you think, 'That's got Blake Shelton's stamp on it.'"
Songs on the new project like "She Wouldn't Be Gone" and "I'll Just Hold On" are twin showcases for the challenging vocal approach Blake is taking, while "100 Miles" has its own riches both vocally and emotionally.
There are also several romantic songs on the project, including "Here I Am," which he co-wrote with Dean Dillon, and "This Is Gonna Take All Night."
The show is ages 21 and over. Tickets are $55 and $50 for members. For more information and ticket information visit http://www.belterracasino.com, or call (888) 235-8377. Belterra Casino and Resort is located at 777 Belterra Drive in Belterra, Indiana.
