Vice-President Joe Biden was at a Democratic Party fund-raising breakfast at the MGM Grand Detroit hotel this morning where tickets were sold for $1,000 a piece and VIP reception tickets at $5,000.
The visit from the Vice-President is to raise money for U.S. Reps. Gary Peters of Oakland County’s Bloomfield Township and Mark Schauer of Battle Creek.
The two U.S. Representatives co-hosted the event. Money raised from the breakfast will go towards both Peters and Schauer campaign for 2010.
The last time Biden was in Michigan was August of this year. He gave good news to Michigan companies announcing they would get a large share of federal grants to develop electric vehicles and batteries.
