Erica Weiland has spent 25 years as a Seattle resident, and closely follows local developments in sustainability, transportation, housing, economic development, and other urban policy issues. She attended the University of Washington and worked on the alternative student newspaper Ruckus. She also briefly studied urban planning at Portland State University. Her work experience includes two years as a legal assistant and permitting specialist for a small wind energy company.
