Safe gas savers

August 2, 10:02 PM
by Kyle Busch, Automotive Examiner

Gas prices have
fallen slightly,
however, the need
to drive a more
fuel-efficient car
or SUV might
still be your top
priority. You might
be downsizing
from a large
vehicle to a

smaller and lighter car or SUV.  Therefore, not only is reliability and
fuel-efficiency important, but also the safety ratings of such vehicles.
The Honda Civic (left) is not only fuel-efficient and good looking, but
safe too!

The following small cars and SUVs have good safety ratings:

Sources: Forbes.com and AOL.com

Cars:
  • Honda Civic
  • Subaru Impreza
  • Mazda MX-5 Miata
  • Audi A3
  • Saab 9-3

SUVs
  • Subaru Forester
  • Ford Freestyle
  • Honda Element
  • Toyota Highlander
  • Acura RDX

These cars and SUVs are not only reasonably fuel-efficient,
but they are also safe and fun to drive.  If we must pay more
to drive, it should include some fun!
