With money being a bit tight for many people at this
holiday season, buying a new or even a used car for a
gift may well be out of the question. However, there
are many auto related items that make good stocking
stuffers.

If you are having difficulty coming up with some fairly
inexpensive but useful gifts, here are some auto related
suggestions:

A good quality tire gauge will not only help the recipient
to get better gas mileage from his or her vehicle, but it will
also increase tire ride quality and tire life.

Closely related to the tire gauge is a can of tire flat fix.
This stocking stuffer will help the recipient to keep motoring
in a pinch. Then the targeted tire can be checked out at a
tire repair facility or at least changed in a garage.

A new set of wiper blades can be a big help with winter
driving visibility. Additionally, this gift will help to keep
picky inspection stations happy!

A book of oil change coupons will help to keep the
recipient’s car engine running for many holiday seasons to
come. Additionally, such maintenance can help to eliminate
potentially expensive engine repairs. Therefore, this
inexpensive little gift is worth a lot!

A couple of bottles of dry gas will help to reduce fuel-line
freeze ups and thus help engines to start. A couple bottles
of dry gas added each tank full of gas during the coldest
month of winter is all that is usually needed!

A can of WD-40 lubricant will help many vehicle parts
(doors hinges, key looks, hood releases, etc.) to operate
smoothly.

Last, but not least, a book of car wash coupons will help
to keep salt off the recipient’s vehicle during the winter
and keep his or her car looking good during the summer.

Many holiday gifts seem to fade away after the season
ends. However, these holiday add-ons will be useful
many months down the road!
