The Hornets wrap up their preseason tonight against the Los Angeles Clippers, but fans are already looking forward to the regular season, which starts on October 28th. The Hornets are only 2-5 this preseason, but luckily it is only the preseason and hopefully they can fare better once the season gets started and they are playing at 100%. While starting center Emeka Okafor has sat out the entire preseason due to injury, it looks like he should be ready to go for the season opener. Okafor has played all 82 games in the past two years so we know he has durability and hope that he has just been sitting out as a precaution. The rest of the team looks healthy, and because it is essentially the same team that has been successful the past few seasons, there is no reason to think they won’t be a competitor once again.
