A Reggae legend comes out for Howard University’s Homecoming weekend and he's bringing "rockin selectas" (djs) with him. Zanzibar OTW in association with Pumpstation Entertainment presents Beenie Man live on Friday October 23, 2009. Beenie Man has been dropping chart topping Dancehall hits since the early 90’s. Starting the evening off is "selectas" (djs) Jazzy-T and Back2Basics spinning the best in Reggae, Dancehall, and Soca. For those of you who want some Hip Hop and R&B, DJ Rico and DJ Naeem are spinning the hits on the Hip Hop floor.

Zanzibar On The Water Front is a three story building accommodating 1,700 people comfortably. The location provides views of historic Washington DC landmarks that will leave you breathless. There are seven bars throughout the club along with two large dance floors and a state of the art sound system. For your viewing pleasure Zanzibar has ten TV monitors and two 10ft projection screens. The 2nd floor has a deck over looking the water front. The 3rd floor, known as “The Sky Club” is used as a VIP area with a private deck that gives a 180 degree view of the Potomac not only allowing you to see Washington DC’s sites but you can see clear to Virginia.
