McCain: Let them eat cake

This just gets better and better.

It turns out that a few months ago, a McCain family corporation closed on a second multi-million-dollar beach condo in the same building in exclusive Coronado, California -- at around the same time that John McCain offered his somewhat tone-deaf observation that struggling homeowners were "working at second jobs" and "skipping a vacation" in order to make mortgage payments on time. (Link)

Here's the video:

Senator McCain has managed to portray himself as "everyman", the regular joe, "my friend" this and that. At the moment voters come to realize he was, in fact, born of priviledge, wealthy beyond even his own understanding, and more than willing to suggest we should all eat cake (see above video), the bottom will start to drop out below the McCain candidacy.
