Warren's sermon the day after

Rick Warren's sermon on Sunday, the day following the Saddleback presidential forum, included the following:

"Don't just look at issues, look at character," Warren said to a crowd of nearly 3,000 during one of two morning sermons at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest. "Look at the candidate and say, 'Does he live with integrity, service with humility, share with generosity, or not?' "

This might be a little like a Rorschach test. The reverend is, clearly, asking his congregation to consider more than how a candidate answer policy questions when they choose who to vote for. When I read the quote, I see a recommendation to consider Barack Obama, even if he differs on evangelical orthodoxy.
